There is only one Mountain Boarding venue in the Lake District.
The Instructors here are very good.
From personal experience I can say that they move you quickly and expertly through the basics of Mountain Boarding.
Before you know it you have mastered starting, riding and power sliding (stopping.)

They then encourage you to move out onto the course to master the remaining art of Mountain Boarding, "Rollers" Mountain Boarding's equivalent of Speed Humps but these help you to go faster, Rails and Jumps on the Boarder Cross course.

£25 for a 3hr Session

Riders can be as young as 8 although being able to fit all the Mountain Barding equipment is more important.

Summer Holiday Activities

The Lake District is again offering great discounts
on a variety of Outdoor Activities on different days during the School holidays.
Great Half Day sessions perfect for the whole family whether you are staying in Cumbria or visiting from the North West.

We also have kids High Ropes courses happening all week.
minimum age of 8, these sessions are instructor lead so parents don't need to stay and Go Ape rules don't apply.

Destination Cumbria has teamed up with one of our local outdoor schools to provide a range of activities to keep your children entertained all week.

Courses start for those aged 6 and over, With sessions running weekly. We are now doing part weeks as well, Drop the kids off for the day and go enjoy yourselves elsewhere.
