The Lake District beat competition from Northumberland, the Gower Peninsula and The Mountains of Mourne in County Down, to win the title of Britain's favourite view in a recent televised contest.
The winning vista was Wastwater, a narrow lake that stretches three miles along the floor of the Wasdale Valley and is overshadowed by mountains including Red Pike, Kirk Fell, Great Gable and Scafell Pike, which is England's highest mountain.
Along with Walking Tours viewing the Flora and Fauna of the Lake District Fells, we have a variety of Driven Guided Tours for example:
The Ten Lakes Spectacular, The Beatrix Potter Tour, The South Lakeland Half Day and by special requests a Guided Brewery Tour.
